4 weeks to go!

I can not believe that we are already in the final stretch! 4 weeks to go and we are soooo ready! I last left off when I was headed to Ohio for the shower that Mom and Ash threw. (Which, of course, was fabulous!)

Then Dad came down for a 3 week visit and we spent some time on Boca Grande. It was wonderful just hanging out, fishing, and catching some sun!

I guess I shouldn't wait so long to post because we also had Aunt Teresa, Uncle David, Maddie, & Pierson down for a visit but I'll include them in the next one! Counting down the days!! 30 to go!

Welcome 3rd trimester!!

This pregnancy cannot possibly be 2/3 of the way over already! On Tuesday I will be 27 weeks! Wow! I am loving the feeling of Audrey squirming and kicking around and Mike has been able to feel her for a few weeks now. Somewhere between 22 and 24 weeks I really started to show. It seemed like overnight I just popped out! I still feel great and haven't had any major discomforts. However, Mike made enchiladas the other night and Im not sure if Audrey loved them or hated them but man did she kick a lot that night. They were probably too spicy, which is a shame b/c those are Mike's signature dish. Hopefully he can find some bland dishes to master! The nursery is almost finished.... we are just waiting on the changing table (which Mike is picking up tomorrow) and then we'll hang some things on the walls and finish the final touches. I'm heading to Ohio this weekend for a joint shower with Jody, my sister-in-law! Even though the temperatures are supposed to be in the 20's the entire time I can't wait to see everyone! My mom is especially excited to see my belly and Ashley can't believe that she'll be able to feel Audrey kick now! What a wonderful experience this has been so far...looking forward to the final trimester and all of the new excitement it will bring!

What a wonderful year 2009 was and 2010 has already been! We had a great Christmas with family down here and then traveled to Ohio to visit family and friends. We spent a week in Ohio and then mom and dad rode to North Carolina with us to spend some time at the cabin. I'm still feeling great and definately starting to get a belly! Mike has been busy working on the nursery and already has it painted and the chair rail put up. Now he just has to put up the crown molding, lay the wood floor, and put the baseboard back on so I can start the fun part!

We went to Babies R Us and Target to register this past weekend....holy smokes is that overwhelming! I think I actually saw Mike's head spin a few times! How fun though to create a wish list for little Audrey! She's spoiled already!! Hopefully the nursery will be done soon and Ill be sure to post pics.

Halfway there!

We are so excited to share that we are having a little girl, Audrey Mae!! All of our tests have come back normal and everything is going very well! Our last appointment was on the 17th and we were glad that Audrey cooperated because we couldn't have waited until after the holidays to find out. It has been wonderful to share the news with family and friends and we can't wait to start shopping! Its also very exciting that so many of our friends just had little girls or are having girls soon. Not to mention her cousin, Cadence, is on the way as well! Let the shopping begin!!!

16 weeks and counting!!

It's hard to believe that I'm already almost 17 weeks along! I've been feeling great and my belly is definately starting to pooch! We went to the dr. at 15 weeks and tried to find out what we are having but the little squirt wouldn't stop squirming around. The 3D pictures were amazing and he/she is actually starting to look like a baby! We go back on the 17th and are hoping to find out then. We are getting more and more excited and can't wait to decorate the nursery! Enjoy the pictures!

Well we made it through the 1st trimester and everything is going great! I feel much better and haven't felt nauseous in a few weeks! Our next appointment is Nov. 17th. I switched doctors because Cape Coral was just too far to drive and it was never possible to make it down there. Also a few of my friends go to Dr Gregush and they really like him. Plus, he does 3d ultrasounds so Im super excited to see those! Enjoy the pictures!

What a great weekend! Mike and I flew to Ohio on Thursday to spend the weekend with family at the Oktoberfest. Since our parents were the only ones that knew, we spent the entire weekend spreading the news! I had onesies made for my siblings and sister-in-law that were a total hit! (You can see the pics) It was definately hard leaving everyone but we'll be back at Christmas so hopefully I have a nice big belly for my mom by then!!
